Recent Japanese Earthquake Kills Two People

Two people were killed and more than 100 injured in the aftershock measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale in northeast Japan on Thursday (8 / 4) evening, Kyodo news agency said.

Japan's weather agency considers the earthquake as an aftershock of the devastating earthquake last March 11. The agency immediately issued a tsunami warning after an earthquake occurs
at 11:32 o'clock local time.

The quake's epicenter in Miyagi prefecture at a depth of about 40 kilometers. But, the tsunami warning was later withdrawn shortly before at 01.00, Friday (9 / 4).

Aftershocks did not cause further damage to the nuclear power plant (NPP) Fukushima Daiichi already paralyzed, according to the operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO). Cooling operations were again conducted after the latest quake.
