U.S. accuses Iran aids Syria Rallies Stop
"We believe there is credible information about the Iranian government who assist the Government of Syria," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Mark Toner was quoted as saying the U.S. CNN on Friday (04/15/2011).

U.S. officials said the assistance from the Government of Iran includes equipment to suppress the demonstrators, as well as technical advice and equipment to monitor and block e-mails, mobile phones, SMS and internet posting made by Syrian activists.

Meanwhile, Syrian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Syrian news agency, SANA, said that the allegations do not benar.Sedang an Iranian diplomat who was assigned to the UN mission said the Iranian government firmly rejected the allegations completely unfounded and not prove it.

The diplomat added that the allegations and other similar charges in line with the current anti-Iranian propaganda orchestrated and spread by the circles are known in the U.S. Government to destroy the image of Iran and Syria.

However, Toner still accuses Iran continues to interfere in Syrian territory. U.S. officials said the Iranian government is also working with the Syrian Government in conducting a crackdown on a demonstration green movement in 2009.

According to former Pentagon intelligence analyst, Michael Rubin, one of the tactics developed by Iran's security is arrested protesters a few days after the rally ended, not when the rally took place.

"What the Iranian government is that they take photos, then they come two or three weeks later. They surrounded the target in the middle of the night, which would not arouse suspicion, where you can not take the fight. That's what probably was taught the Government of Iran in Syria, "said Rubin.
