Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency of Japan said that radiation levels at nuclear power plants reached the west gate microsieverts 271 per hour in the morning at 07.30 local time.
The number is 38 points lower than before the spraying of water and 21 points lower shortly after the sprayed water. Thus quoted from NHK, Friday (03/18/2011).

Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said it could not be sure whether the water spraying operation by the Japanese defense forces have lowered radioactivity at nuclear power plants.

Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency also said efforts to restore the function of reactor coolant No. 1 and 2 and the fuel storage pools continue to be done. They plan to restore the function of coolant in the reactor No. 3 and 4 on Saturday.
