The series is down about 14 percent in total viewers when compared to last fall. It's important to note last fall had Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's daughter, as a contestant.
The show has never failed to create headlines with its casting choices, however that doesn't always translate to viewership. In fact, sometimes it leads to boycotts. This season, many viewers vowed not to watch because of Chaz Bono's participation in the season.
