Caroline learned a hard truth about the working class life on '2 Broke Girls' (Mon., 8:30PM ET on CBS) when Max took her to a Goodwill. She learned that sometimes you have to fight for what you want. But even though it was Max who taught her this trick, she seemed resigned to losing.
In fact, Max's pessimism and give-up attitude is one of the things Caroline seems committed to fixing. She's also determined to see the two of them become genuine friends. And friends stick up for one another.
So when the woman who stole the t-shirt Max was genuinely excited about -- an emotion Caroline had probably never seen on her -- from her basket and then wore it into the diner, Caroline had her friend's back.
Max backed down and accepted defeat, while Caroline went with the idea that if you can't have it, no one can. So she spilled borsch all over it, ruining it. That's what friendship is about, and like it or not that's what's happening to these two. Max has been walking the horse -- have we mentioned how much we love the horse! -- for Caroline, and even turned an extra fan on for her.
Like it or not, Max is starting to like this crazy rich chick, and the two are well on their way to becoming besties!
