Edinson Cavani scored a hat-trick as Napoli swept aside AC Milan 3-1 at the San Paolo stadium to maintain their perfect record in Serie A.

Alberto Aquilani put the visitors ahead in the 11th minute before Cavani equalised shortly after.
Cavani struck his second in the 36th minute and the Uruguay forward completed his hat-trick six minutes after half-time as his team secured the win.

An injury-time goal from Sebastian Giovinco earned Parma a 2-1 triumph over Chievo, although his joy was marred when he was sent off a minute later for a second bookable offence.
The hosts released all their frustration at losing 4-1 at Juventus in their opening game on a Chievo side that struggled from the start.
Giovinco put Parma in front in the 24th minute before substitute Alberto Paloschi equalised with 11 minutes remaining. With the game looking to be heading for a draw, Giovinco came to the rescue and scored his second of the day in stoppage time, only to receive his marching orders in the aftermath.
Atalanta further reduced their deficit at the foot of Serie A thanks to a first win of the season as they beat Palermo 1-0 amid weather problems.
German Denis put the home side in front in the 34th minute, but the game was suspended after an hour when a torrential downpour rendered the pitch unplayable. After more than half an hour's delay the referee called the players back on and Atalanta held onto their lead over the remaining half an hour to move to minus two points at the bottom of the table.
Maxi Lopez's first-half penalty settled a scrappy encounter as Catania beat Cesena 1-0 at Stadio Angelo Massimino. In a game of few clear-cut chances, the hosts had the measure of their opponents and just about deserved a win that preserves their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Guillermo Giacomazzi and Carlos Grossmuller grabbed the goals as Lecce earned their first win of the season by beating Bologna 2-0. The visitors, who were beaten by Udinese in their season-opener, went ahead through Giacomazzi eight minutes before the break and Grossmuller made sure of the points on the hour mark.
