Lyon have announced Brazil international Michel Bastos has signed a new contract at the Stade de Gerland.

Bastos, 28, joined Lyon from Lille in 2009 for a fee in the region of €18 million, penning a four-year deal with the Ligue 1 club.
The left back was linked with a switch to Juventus in the summer but has this week agreed fresh terms with his current side that will keep him at Lyon until 2015.
Lyon have enjoyed a solid start to the Ligue 1 season, with the club currently top of the table after winning five of their opening eight matches.
