World News - Snipers along with Syrian security forces have killed three protesters in the western city of Tall then it some time after holding rallies.
"Bassam al-Khatib, Mohammed Sajid Akkari and Ghasub al-Hassan were killed when they leave Usman bin Affan Mosque in Tall then it,"the exposure of a witness, as reported by AFP on Monday (5/16/2011).
"The sniper who fired the shot were members of security forces," the eyewitness added.
"The situation is very bad, tanks were deployed in several areas," according to one witness.
"Many people were injured in the street, and we could not be approached."
Meanwhile, yesterday, Syria freed one of his well-known dissident Riad Seif ie. He allegedly violated the ban on demonstrations. It was raised an activist, Abdul Karim Rihawi.
Rihawi which is the head of Syria's human rights agency, said the appeals court had allowed the lower court to release Seif.
Seif was arrested in February 2006, just a month after he spent nearly 5 years in jail due to charges of trying to change the constitution by illegal means.
