'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 winner J.R. Martinez has been invited to meet officials at the Pentagon.According to the Associated Press, Martinez was invited to visit with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
The Army veteran, who won hearts on ABC's 'All My Children' before winning 'Dancing With the Stars,' had a 10-minute phone call with Panetta on Fri., Nov. 25.
AP reports Panetta told Martinez that he demonstrated a "the strength and resilience of wounded veterans."
Martinez took home the coveted Mirrorball trophy on 'Dancing With the Stars' following several weeks of competition. The soap star bested reality fixture Rob Kardashian and talk show host Ricki Lake to take home the winner title.
The Pentagon meeting details are still being worked out.
