U.S. warns Syria Military

World News - U.S. shows concern for the reports said Syria was mobilizing its troops to the Turkish border. Related to that, the U.S. warned that this situation will probably escalate the conflict.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the Syrian army's mobilization report is very worrying.

He said the presence of Syrian troops that could lead to armed conflict with Turkey and make it difficult for the refugees.

The tanks and snipers were reported in the Syrian village of Khirbet al-Jouz, forcing residents there to cross into Turkey.

More than 1,300 people were reported killed since anti-government protests held last March. Thousands of protesters, according to opposition activists, were arrested and jailed.

A number of citizens in Syria - including Homs and Hama - announced a massive strike after bloody clashes with Syrian security forces and loyalists of President Bashar al-Assad, earlier this week.


"If it is true there is mobilization of Syrian troops, this aggressive action will worsen the condition of refugees Syria," Clinton said.

"The potential for clashes on the border will increase escalation, unless the Syrians immediately end the attacks and provocations."

Clinton also reiterated Washington's call to President Assad immediately realize the promise of reform or resign.

So far many Syrian refugees living in temporary shelters near the Turkish border. Most of them cross into Turkish territory, but most survive in camps near the border.

Military operations in northern Syrian causing thousands of residents fled to Turkey.

Syria said troops stormed Khirbet al-Jouz Thursday morning local time. Tanks and armed soldiers appear in the streets around the area and scattered snipers on the roofs of houses.

A tower that previously decorated with Turkish flags flutter, fitted citizens as an expression of gratitude for the help of Turkey, now flying the flag of Syria.

It is estimated that currently there are about 10,000 Syrian citizens who were displaced in the area administered by Turkish and Turkish Crescent.
