World News - Iranians on Saturday commemorating the death of 22-year major cleric Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the pioneer of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This memorial was held at Khomeini's tomb, located in south of Tehran.
Tens of thousands of people, including political and military officials. Also attended Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, successor to Khomeini, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Imam Khomeini is one initiator of the Islamic revolution that ended the dictatorship government of Iran and also a bearer of democracy in the country.
The successor of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared, 32 years after the Iranian revolution, the new generation still hold fast to the principles of Imam Khomeini.
