US-India Cooperation Increase Intelligence
Janet held a dialogue about improving cooperation on counter-terrorism, cyber security and intelligence exchange between the two countries.

During his visit for four days in India, Janet describes India as a good partner. As reported by the Associated Press on Friday (27/05/2011), Janet believes this cooperation will be able to run well.

Since the Cold War, India was the closest partners of the Soviet Union, while the U.S. is closer to the enemies of India, namely Pakistan. But now India and the United States even more closely and they are committed to combating global terrorism.

Janet also attended the trial of a suspect case of the Mumbai attacks, which killed 116. India accused Pakistan's intelligence behind this attack.

This Friday, Janet plans to visit the Indian Affairs Minister P. Chidambaram to discuss further security dialogue.
