Afghan Police Kill 2 NATO Troops

World News - Two members of the army North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was shot dead by an Afghan police in the southwestern province of Helman. Two people that are doing special training Afghan police.

Following the gunfire directed at them, some other troops fired a reply to the perpetrators of the shooting. As a result the police were injured and immediately rushed to the hospital. Similarly Reported the Associated Press, Saturday, (14/05/2011).

This incident is not the first time this has happened in Afghanistan. Previous members of the Afghan police had also killed a member of coalition forces in the land conflict.

On 27 April, an Afghan veteran pilot who allegedly had financial problems, opened fire sporadically at Kabul Airport. The incident killed eight U.S. troops (U.S.) and a U.S. civilian contractor.

A similar incident occurred yesterday, NATO said that one of its members killed by a bomb mounted on the side of the road southern Afghanistan. There are no clear details about the incident.

Until this month, 10 NATO troops were reported killed. Meanwhile, since early last year more than 120 others were reportedly killed.
