Celebrate Age to-100, Chvrolet Release Special Edition Corvette
"Racing and performance are the roots of the tradition of Chevrolet, which were deferred by the Corvette," said Rick Scheidt, Chevrolet marketing vice president. "Centennial Edition not only celebrate our 100 years, but on the other side is used to push the Corvette into a new generation of sports car enthusiasts."
Centennial Edition 2012 will be available as a special package on all Corvette models, including the Grand Sport which features a V8 engine capacity 6.200cc capable of pumping power up to 430HP. While type Z06 is equipped with 7000 cc engine-powered V8 505HP and superior model itself is a ZR1 with LS9 engine supercharged V8-powered 638 hp.
Other exclusive features include a logo graphic that displays the image of Louis Chevrolet that appears on the B-pillar, hubcaps and steering wheel, while the badge with the number "100" there are some parts of the car.
Black and red theme continues inside with leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors are equipped Ebony with red stitching on the steering wheel, seats, console and shifter. The interior also get a microfiber suede accents on the seats, steering wheel, shifter and the arm chair, while in the seat headrests have the logo "100" that seemed to arise.
All Corvette Centennial Edition models will be equipped with GM's Magnetic Selective Ride Control as standard equipment.
Corvette Centennial Edition package will be available through the ZLC sequence code, a price that will be released this summer before starting sales.
