Accounts Facebook Half Accessed Through Mobile

Facebook will change the total pages in each mobile device user interface, Facebook will integrate mobile websites into a single interface.

Currently, the social networking site that has two major mobile Web page that is touch.facebook.com, designed for high-end smartphones, touch screen, and m.facebook.com, for feature phones with a single touch interface.

According to Facebook, maintain mobile websites that can hold many times its ability to innovate and forcing Facebook making a new feature to the code base double.

Starting today, Facebook will integrate m.facebook.com and touch.facebook.com. "There will be no difference between m.facebook.com and touch.facebook.com," said Lee Byron from Facebook in an official announcement. "We will serve you with the best mobile web version."

Facebook also announced about 250 million people or half of Facebook users use Facebook via mobile devices every month.

Erick Tseng, a mobile head Facebook, said the changes will not only provide a more consistent user interface on all mobile devices, but also allows Facebook to release new features since all mobile web sites share the same code base.

Users can feel thechange the mobile interface , depending on what device they use to access Facebook . On a mobile UIs relatively unchanged, while the other device will give the look and feel significantly different.

This new framework knows when to give a full touch screen experience with CSS3 and HTML5, and adjust to the features of mobile phones, devices without a keyboard, and mobile OS with a major bug.

The new website can be run on the new UI framework using XHP (PHP extension that combines XML), Javelin (javascript framework that light Facebook) and WURFL (a database of mobile devices that open source)
