Justin Timberlake will receive an award in the event the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in recognition of his participation in helping the less fortunate.
The actor and singer known for his advocacy of environmental and charitable work was selected Big Help Award winning category.
"I was inspired by parents and families when they were still at my age to do something so that it can provide assistance to the world around us," said Justin Femalefirst that was launched on Wednesday (03/30/2011).
"And it has become my mission to help children of all ages as well as understand the importance of engaging in their communities in local charity events and do something to preserve the planet," he added.
In addition to being host of the annual week-long golf tournament to raise money for children who are less fortunate, Justin also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009, to raise awareness of global water crisis.
"I have been practicing four times a week to get enough oxygen consumption. It also trains the lungs. We'll go up the mountain for a week. This is not easy, but I know it will be very beneficial," said Justin time.
Other stars who will appear at the event held on Saturday, April 2 next, including Willow Smith and the Black Eyed Peas
