OSAKA - Fukushima nuclear power plant operator admitted to having falsified reports nuclear power plant repairs, a few days before the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan.

This disclosure provoked the question whether Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) which was contaminated scandal and the government is too weak in applying the rule in an important industry.

Operator Unit Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant to submit its report on Japan's nuclear watchdog, 10 days before the earthquake struck on Friday, March 11. In the report, the operator admitted not checking 33 pieces of equipment in the six reactors in nuclear power plants.

Board power supply power to the reactor temperature control valve was never checked for 11 years. However, Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) said the examiner said it had falsified reports to make a thorough examination, but only minimally examination alone.

The report also said, the tests were not done voluntarily in the cooling system that includes other equipment, relating to motor water pumps and diesel generators. The report submitted after the Japanese nuclear regulators ordered the plant operator to check whether the examination is comprehensive.

"Management planning long-term inspection and maintenance done improperly. Quality inspection in nuclear power plants is lacking,"the conclusion of Japan's nuclear safety agency, after recognition Tepco as quoted by AFP on Monday (3/21/2011).

Nuclear Safety Agency ordered Tepco to make a planning inspection have been corrected prior to 2 June.
