Steve Bruce has been confirmed as the new manager of Championship side Hull City.

Bruce, 51, takes on his first job since he was sacked as Sunderland manager in November.
A statement on Hull's official website read: "We are delighted to confirm that Steve Bruce has been appointed the new manager of Hull City AFC."
Bruce replaces Nick Barmby, who was dismissed last month in response to comments he made suggesting the board had not made money available for transfers.
