Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has denied reports that manager Brendan Rodgers will meet with Liverpool's owners over the vacant manager's position as pure speculation.

Although Rodgers had already announced that he will remain at Swansea next season, Liverpool are reportedly still hopeful of talking to the Northern Irishman about the position.
Jenkins, though, has told BBC Sport that reports of a Liverpool approach to talk to his manager are "pure speculation".
Ten days ago Swansea released a statement confirming they had received an official approach from Liverpool to speak with Rodgers and today backed-up the message.
"Meanwhile, we would like to clarify the speculation in the press surrounding our manager Brendan Rodgers," the club said.
"We would like to confirm that there has been no contact from Liverpool and nothing has changed since our previous statement on the issue."
Roberto Martinez remains the favourite for the position, with further talks set for Tuesday after a meeting in Miami last week.
