Wesley Sneijder says he is happy to remain at Inter Milan despite the club's disappointing season.
• Stramaccioni to stay at Inter
Despite improving at the end of the season after Andrea Stramaccioni took charge, Inter failed to qualify for the Champions League and that had led to renewed speculation over Sneijder's future.
However, club president Massimo Moratti said the Netherlands midfielder, who had been open to a move to Manchester United last summer, has a "key role in Inter's future" and the player has now confirmed he is not seeking an exit.
"Massimo Moratti's words pleased me, as I'm sure next year will be a different story and the president will sign important players," Sneijder said. "In any case, I am happy at Inter and feel like part of the group."
