Santos Laguna moved four points clear at the top of Mexico's Clausura with a
3-1 win at Atlas.

The visitors were quick out of the blocks, leading 2-0 inside five minutes
thanks to goals from Oribe Peralta and Carlos Quintero.

Although Leandro Cufre pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 20th
minute, Peralta's second of the game four minutes into the second half made it
3-1 and that was how things stayed.

Morelia, who started the day just two points adrift of the leaders, slipped up
at Jaguares. Gerardo Espinoza got the only goal midway through the second half.

Tigres Monterrey, who also started the day on 31 points, also missed an
opportunity as they fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Puebla.

Lucas Lobos gave the hosts the lead but goals inside the last seven minutes
from Luis Garcia and substitute Aaron Padilla turned things around in Puebla's
favour.

Monterrey took advantage, winning 3-0 at Atlante to move up to second. Dario
Carreno gave the visitors a first minute lead before a brace from Humberto Suazo
in the second half made the points safe.

The day's other game saw Pachuca beat Guadalajara 3-1 with goals from Jaime
Ayovi, Segundo Castillo and Leobardo Lopez. Antonio Salazar's 34th
minute goal for the visitors levelled the scores for only six minutes.
