French news agency AFP claim sources at PSG have confirmed a structured deal has been agreed with the Rossoneri that will see them pay €28 million up front, plus €7 million in add-ons, and a salary of up to €7 million per year.

However, when asked ahead of Sunday's Milan derby with Inter about Pato's mooted move to Paris, Allegri told Il Corriere della Serra: "I really don't believe that this will be Pato's last derby."

And despite replacing the Brazilian during Milan's last game against Atalanta, Allegri insists he had been impressed by Pato's overall contribution to the Serie A leaders.

"He did well against Atalanta on Sunday, despite me taking him off because I needed a striker with other characteristics. He won the penalty, hit the post and was involved in two or three attacks. He made the most of his traits."

Meanwhile, AFP report Pato's agent will arrive in Paris on Friday to finalise a deal for the Milan forward, who has scored 51 goals in 111 Serie A games.
