For Battlestar Galactica fans, there was no sadder day than May 12, when NBC officially passed on 17th Precinct, the so-called "BSG reunion" from Ron Moore.
Now the pilot — a police drama set in a town where magic and supernatural elements rule over science starring Jamie Bamber and Tricia Helfer — has surfaced online.

NBC passed on the project in May, opting to stock its shelves with drama series orders to fellow fantasy procedural Grimm (which earned a full-season renewal), the upcoming Kyle Killen series Awake and musical Smash as well as the now-canceled Prime Suspect and The Playboy Club.
