Former Barcelona and AC Milan star Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to Greek side Panathinaikos amid claims he has not been paid by Flamengo for four months.
However, his agent, who claimed last week that he and his client were "running out of patience" regarding the unpaid wages, insisted on Monday that Ronaldinho, 31, was happy to stay in Rio de Janeiro.
"I have not spoke n to anyone about a potential transfer. He is very happy here where he can always visit his friends. He's still a big name in world football," Assis told Lancenet.
"He's getting some good results here. He has made over 50 appearances and has scored 20 goals. He has even returned to the Selecao. He is very happy and wants to focus on his performances on the pitch."
Ronaldinho scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Internacional on Sunday, to help move Flamengo into fourth in the Brazilian league with one match left to play.
