ABC took home a solid ratings victory Wednesday night with the 45th annual Country Music Association Awards. The three-hour country kudofest averaged 16.3 million viewers, down from 16.4 in 2010, but brought up its rating in adults 18-49 to a 4.8, up one tenth from the previous outing. All in all, the numbers fairly consistent, though still down 4 percent from 2009.
A live, two-hour block of the X Factor posted a 3.7 in adults 18-49 for Fox. It slips two tenths from last Wednesday's broadcast, losing an additional 12 percent for a showing of 10.1 million viewers.

On CBS, Survivor, Criminal Minds and CSI were all down from last week, giving the network a 3.0 for the night, with an average of 10.7 million viewers.
NBC was on par with the previous Wednesday. A new episode of Up All Night brought in a 1.8 in adults 18-49, with a rerun bringing a 1.2. Harry's Law was up two tenths in the key demo, posting a 1.3, followed by Law & Order, which was down a tic to 1.9.
The CW mixed things up at 8:00 p.m., swapping a rerun of Ringer for a rerun of America's Next Top Model -- which didn't fare as well, not breaking the 1 million mark in viewers but getting a 1.4 in 18-49. A new episode was down from last week, with a 0.7 in the demo.
