Our favorite juicehead gorilla, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino will guest-star on ABC's hit new comedy 'Suburgatory,' reports TV Guide.



The Situation will play himself, and we can't wait to see him and Noah (Alan Tudyk) compare tans. The 'Jersey Shore' star will somehow end up in the suburbs, where he'll serve as the fist-pumping DJ at Tessa's (Jane Levy) school dance.



Sorrentino's acting debut will air sometime next year.



In other casting news ...



The 'True Blood' cast continues to grow. Italian actress Valentina Cervi has joined the cast as a series regular. Cervi will play Salome, an ancient vampire. [TVLine]



Carrie Preston is returning to 'The Good Wife.' The 'True Blood' actress will return, but no other info was given. [TVLine]

'Veronica Mars' Alum to find love on 'The Vampire Diaries.' Robert Ri'chard will play Jamie, Bonnie's (Kat Graham) new handsome love interest, on the hit CW vampire drama. For now, the role is described as potentially recurring. [E! Online]
