On the heels of their 22-episode pickup, ABC’s Happy Endings is staffing up.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that veteran actress Faith Prince and celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson are joining the series in guest roles.

In Episode 211, Prince’s character, Roz Liebowitz, has her job cut out for her as Penny’s (Casey Wilson) no-nonsense childhood therapist who she still uses. Prince joins already announced guest star Ken Marino (Party Down, Childrens Hospital), who plays Dave’s (Zachary Knighton) therapist, Rick Rickman, who has a problem with personal boundaries in the same episode.
And Dave will find his hero in Kim Kardashian’s real life trainer, Gunnar Peterson, on Episode 210. It's a stretch, but he plays Gunnar, the manager at a gym who tries to broker a deal between Dave and Corey (a bully played by guest star, Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan). Fun storyline twist here in that Max (Adam Pally) has a misguided crush on Corey partly because “he’s kind of hot when he bullies.”
Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva fans know Prince as Elaine Bingum, Jane’s (Brooke Elliot) biological mother. She has also appeared on CSI, Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, and starred in the Showtime series, Huff.

Peterson is a newcomer to acting, but not to Hollywood. His celebrity clients include Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and countless professional athletes. He has two decades of fitness training experience, authored books on the subject, and has designed his own line of exercise equipment.
Both episodes will air early next year. Happy Endings airs Wednesdays at 9:30 on ABC.
