Entertainment News : Alex Has a Special Request for Whitney While Drunk on 'Whitney'

While the critical jury remains out on whether or not 'Whitney' (Thu., 9:30PM ET on NBC) is a great sitcom or not, one thing has remained consistent since its premiere. Chris D'Elia is a brilliant comedian. We know a lot of the scenes are at least partially ad-libbed, and we love when he gets Whitney Cummings laughing.

We suspect a lot of what he said during his drunk scene this week was made up on the spot, like when he abruptly declared to Whitney, "I wanna put my hand under your shirt."

Then, he found his way there by way of putting his hand inside of a pillowcase and getting in a few good gropes on the pillow. Later, Whitney said things escalated from there and she had to do a lot of laundry.

The fallout between Mark and Alex made for some solid bromance-style comedy moments, while Whitney in a supporting role -- like being his buddy at the bar, playing pool and eating way-too-hot wings -- worked really well.
