Keith Millen has left his position as manager of Championship side Bristol City.
• Blackpool 5-0 Bristol City
Millen took charge of the club in August 2010 following the surprise departure of Steve Coppell, having first arrived at Ashton Gate as a player in 1999 and later had spells as assistant and caretaker manager.
However, he has struggled to live up to expectations and the Robins are currently bottom of the table. Fans called for Millen to be sacked as City were defeated 5-0 by Blackpool on Saturday and the club confirmed on Monday morning that he would be lea ving the role.
Chairman Colin Sexstone told the official Bristol City website: "I'd like to place on record my thanks to Keith for his 12 years of service at the club. He is an outstanding coach and we wish him all the very best for the future."
