'Family Jewels' fans have long known that Shannon Tweed said "yes" to Gene Simmons' marriage proposal in the Season 6 finale.
Now, just ahead of the Season 7 premiere, comes the news that the rocker and his partner of 28 years finally tied the knot this past weekend.
And yes, the 'Family Jewels' cameras were rolling: The nuptials will feature in an episode to be aired later this month.
'People' reports that the couple were married at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday in front of 400 guests including Simmons' Kiss bandmates, Hugh Hefner and Bill Maher. The crowd cheered when Simmons said "I do."
The couple's wedding invitation had stated "Classy Cocktail Attire Requested ... although we know some Rockstar attire will be worn," and Tweed reportedly walked down the aisle wearing an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown and carrying a bouquet of ivory garden roses.
According to TMZ, Tweed was dripping in an estimated $ 2.5 million-worth of diamonds for the couple's first married dance, which was to the Etta James classic, 'At Last,' performed by maid of honor, their daughter Sophie.
The morning after, the bride Tweeted "That was the best wedding I've ever been to!! Thank you, @GENESIMMONS @SophieTSimmons & Nick Simmons!"
Fans can watch the happy couple tie the knot on 'Family Jewels,' Oct. 18.
