From TV pastry chef to child pornographer?
Reality TV has had its fair share of villains, but when the bad behavior happens off camera, it's still a bit of a shock -- especially in the case of 'Top Chef Just Desserts' Season 1 finalist Morgan Wilson, who was indicted on three second-degree felony charges of possession with the intent to promote child pornography.
Wilson, 38, was arrested on Dec. 7, 2010 -- less than a month after the 'Just Desserts' finale episode aired -- when undercover investigators received file transfers from him via Limewire on his computer in September 2010. The file transfers allegedly contained images and videos of children as young as toddlers engaged in sexual acts, according to Pegasus News.
Fans of the Bravo show will remember that Wilson (whose bio is still live on Bravo's site), who lives in Plano, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, was known for getting emotional when talking about his young son in confessionals throughout the season of 'Just Desserts.'
Plano police officers searched Wilson's residence on Sept. 27, 2010; at that time, Wilson was shown three images that had been sent from his IP address and downloaded by investigators. According to the police affidavit, Wilson admitted he had viewed these images, and signed and dated the images to indicate the agreement with police. Wilson's laptop computer and an external hard drive were then taken from his residence and further reviewed by FBI forensic examiners, according to police.
Wilson was released Dec. 16, 2010, on a $ 10,000 bond under the stipulation that he would not have access to any computer without monitoring software.
The executive pastry chef at Dallas' Ritz-Carlton Hotel Lobby Lounge since 2007, the hotel's Web site just removed Wilson's name from the site; their Director of Human Resources Jim Van Winkle had previously declined to verify Wilson's current employment status at the hotel.
In a sad but ironic look back, this Bravo video from the Season 1 finale shows Wilson praising winner Yigit Pura for being a "very good human being" on top of being a wonderful pastry chef.
And this clip -- titled "The Two Sides of Morgan" -- shows him goofing off and playing pool with several competitors, while some other fellow chefs talked about him being a "douchebag" who they don't respect.

What do you say: Is this the worst case of reality TV stars gone bad?
