New fall series, Once Upon a Time, is still populating the show’s town of Storybrooke.

An ABC spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Eion Bailey will appear in a multi-episode arc on the series, as first reported by TVGuide.com. Viewers will meet him in the ominously named role of “The Stranger” starting on the show’s ninth episode.
Bailey plays the recurring character of Ben Mercer on USA’s Covert Affairs. Viewers will also remember him as Jake Scanlon on ER and as Pvt. David Kenyon Webster on the HBO Miniseries, Band of Brothers.

From executive producers, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (Lost, Tron: Legacy), Once Upon a Time follows cynical bail bondswoman, Emma Swan (House's Jennifer Morrison). She meets a young boy who insists that fairy tale characters actually exist and are living in the modern time. The series premieres on Oct. 23.
