A spokesperson from Sony Pictures Television, the studio behind Community, confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Saturday Night Live player Taran Killam will guest star on Season 3’s holiday-themed episode, as first reported by TVLine. Killam will play the community college’s off-kilter choir director on a Dec. episode.

Besides NBC’s late night comedy sketch show, Killiam has played recurring roles on How I Met Your Mother and Scrubs. SNL isn’t the first time he has starred on a sketch show either. He appeared on the seventh season of Fox’s MADtv.
Community airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
