Fox's 'Family Guy,' 'American Dad' & 'Cleveland Show' crossover will finally see the light of day on Sun., Oct. 2.
The hurricane-themed set of episodes were supposed to air last season, but were pulled by the network after a series of storms and tornadoes wreaked havoc across the nation. Now, several months later, the episodes are set to air, but don't expect a lot of hoopla.
According to TV Guide, Fox won't be promoting the special episodes like they normally would for a crossover. Additionally, they'll be airing Red Cross public service announcements.
"We're toning it down quite a bit," Fox's scheduler Preston Beckman told TV Guide. "We've learned our lesson. We didn't expect it to be a challenge when we had to pull it."
However, if there was another weather disaster, Fox is prepared to pull the episodes. So far the forecast is looking OK.
