Thai-Cambodian War Enters 7th Day

World News - Artillery troops who carried out the bombing in front of the Thai-Cambodian border to this day has entered the seventh day.

A loud explosion has begun to be heard since the early days in Dongrak Phanom, a village located approximately 20km from the border.

In Cambodia, the field commander Col. Suos Sothea said that the battle is still focused on seizing that is desolate temple at Ta Moan and Ta Krabey.

Until now the dead had reached 14 people and forcing thousands of civilians from both sides have to evacuate, according to the Straits Times reported on Thursday (28/04/2011).

On Wednesday, the Cambodian leader Hun Sen has accused Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva loves war and provoke conflict, but he also still waiting for the peace talks at a meeting which will be held in Indonesia.

While Abhisit said that his government would not be a meeting of defense ministers from both countries before the cease-fire.

"If they want to negotiate, the best way is to stop shooting,"said Abhisit said after visiting wounded people in the province of Surin.
