Apparently, the hero nicknamed The Man of Steel was concerned with nationality. In the latest edition of the hit comic on Wednesday (27 / 4), Superman wanted to release the nationality of America in a speech before the United Nations.
"I am tired because my actions are interpreted as an instrument of U.S. policy," Superman said in a short story in comic number 900 of Time Warner, DC Comics.
In the comics, Superman did not abandon his true nationality. He only spoke about his plans to do that.
But conservative critics feel disgusted with the new storyline. The reason, superhero fiction that has long claimed stood for "Truth, Justice, and the American way."
In a blog posting on The Weekly Standard, Jonathan Last's senior author questioned the beliefs of Superman. Now Superman appears to have rejected the United States.
"If Superman does not believe in America, then he does not believe in anything," he said.
In the new plot, Superman looks like to take a more global mission to battle against evil. "The world is too small.'s too connected," said Superman in comic books.
