Internet News - Facebook recently launched a new feature to their social networking service, called Deals. This feature is presented to rival Groupon.
Recommended Deals itself is basically an extension of service Facebook Places, which officially launched some time ago. Deals provides incentives for users Facebook to integrate Places in their daily lives - and they are also an incentive for marketers and major brands to put more money into the Facebook platform.
Facebook even launched a web page to let users find this feature on the web.
Launched by Mashable, Wednesday (27/04/2011), for the time being Deals will be present in five cities in the United States that consists it is San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta and San Diego.
Deals more like a voucher Groupon compared Foursquare, where users can buy a certificate for certain goods or services at a discount, typically half the retail price, and redeem it later.
Users can also buy Deals use Facebook credits. It is estimated that Facebook has plans to bring Credits to the real world since then f8, the company's developer conference, when Facebook announced the Open Graph.
