Disallow on Libyan citizens to North Korea to Return

North Korea ordered all its citizens in Libya did not come home. This is presumably in an attempt to block news of rebellion in the Arab world until the communist state.

"Pyongyang, in a message sent to the embassy in Libya, told about 200 workers of North Korea (North Korea) not to go home and follow the recommendations of local authorities,"the Yonhap news agency quoted a source close to the affairs North Korea on Sunday (10 / 4).

(North Korea) do so for fear that news of civil unrest will spread in the North. The impoverished communist country to send its workers, including doctors, nurses and construction workers to countries rich in oil, such as Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait to obtain much-needed foreign currency.

Many countries have evacuated residents-citizens from the North African country since bloody clashes erupted between rebels and forces loyal to Libyan leader Moamar Gaddafi in February. Pyongyang and Tripoli maintain a close diplomatic relationship.

Gaddafi called on North Korea as the leader of the Revolutionary Comrade Kim Jong Il. Experts say North Korea increased its campaign to prevent information about the pro-democracy protests, fearing it could trigger a similar rebellion among his own people against the ruling Kim dynasty.
