Newcastle United midfielder Cheik Tiote believes he does not need to leave the club in order to achieve all his ambitions.
The Ivorian has been linked with a big-money transfer in the summer, with Chelsea the team most frequently linked with his signature.
But Newcastle still have a strong chance to qualify for the Champions League for next season, and Tiote has now admitted that conditions seem to be right at St James' Park for him to taste every success he wants to in club foo tball.
"I know I can achieve what I want to here," Tiote said, according to The Mirror. "I don't know about the speculation. I have four games to play, I think I have to focus on the games because they are important games for the club and for everybody.
"I think that is the most important thing now, we have to do everything we can to win those games. After the season, we will see."
The goals of Papiss Cisse have helped boost the Magpies' bid for European football next season, with the former Freiburg hotshot proving a revelation since moving to the Premier League.
Cisse insists his exploits have not surprised him - but expects Demba Ba, who has experienced something of a drought since his compatriot's arrival, to become more effective over the remainder of the campaign.
"For him, it is natural to score goals. It feels normal," Cisse said. "As a striker, it is important to score those goals. If you don't, you start to worry, but he scores every game. It is good for the team, too.
"It is unbelievable that Demba Ba has not scored recently. He played so well on Saturday and has been playing well. But if he keeps playing that he will score and he will score goals all the time."
