Pranks took center stage during the holiday party on 'The Office' (Thu., 9PM ET on NBC). Apparently, the constant back-and-forth between Jim and Dwight has lead to a complaint from the new girl in the office, which lead to Andy making an ill-advised ultimatum.The next person who pranks gets both of their bonuses. But all this ruling did was cause the pair to start pranking themselves, under the pretext that it's the other doing it. When Andy realized what was going wrong, he called off the threat but again made a boneheaded move by only telling Jim.
In his defense, he was distracted by Erin's near crazy response to meeting his new girlfriend. But Erin found commiseration in a surprisingly humanized Robert California after he was left by his wife after refusing to let Andy hire her.
As for Jim, he conveniently forgot to tell Dwight the ultimatum was off, allowing Dwight to continue pranking himself mercilessly.
