On Sunday, with the score tied at 1-1, Francois Beauchemin sparked the Ducks to life with his goal at 1:31 in the third period before Corey Perry made it 3-1 two minutes later and Bobby Ryan scored his second of the night at 6:24.

"We kept most of the game simple, got pucks behind them and tried to get traffic in front of the net. That was the difference in the game," Ryan told reporters.

"We moved the puck a little more and were a little more patient. It was nice to be rewarded."

Ryan had given the Ducks the lead in the first period before Patrik Berglund tied the game in the second. The Blues' Alexander Steen capped the scoring at 9:38 of the third.

Ducks netminder Jonas Hiller was coming off a shutout win on Friday over San Jose and was in fine form against St. Louis, making 28 saves to give An aheim the win.

After missing most of the second half of last season with vertigo, Hiller is enjoying a good start to the new campaign and kept St. Louis quiet for most of the night.

The Blues (2-3-0) have lost two of three games during their four-game road trip that ends on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings.
