Football News : Nations Cup: Cameroon conclude with a win

Bookmark and Share

Cameroon completed an unsuccessful 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying campaign
with a 3-2 win away to Congo DR on Friday night.

The visitors, their chances of qualifying for the tournament proper already
over with Senegal having sewn up Group E, twice came from behind to salvage some
pride.

Dioko Kaluyituka put Congo DR ahead after 12 minutes and Deo Kanda restored
their lead before the break after Samuel Eto'o's equaliser.

But Cameroon improved after the break and two quick goals turned the game
around.

Matthew Andongcho made it 2-2 after 75 minutes and four minutes later Mainz's
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting struck the winner.
