Two second-half goals allowed Red Bull New York to secure a Major League Soccer
play-off place as they won 2-0 at FC Dallas.

Their victory at Pizza Hut Park, secured in spite of the 79th-minute dismissal
of Jan Gunnar Solli, lays on a two-legged game with Los Angeles Galaxy, setting
up a head-to-head between two Premier League legends - David Beckham and Thierry
Henry.
The latter put the seal on Red Bull's win, scoring at the second attempt
after getting on the end of a long ball in injury time.
Joel Lindpere had earlier opened the scoring just after the hour mark, before Solli was sent-off for a foul on
Daniel Hernandez.
Both teams wound up playing with 10 men for the six minutes of stoppage time when Dallas defender Zach Loyd was injured and carried off on a stretcher, after Dallas had already used up all of its substitutions.
