A Gifted Man (7.5 million total viewers, 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 demographic) and CSI: NY (9.7 million, 1.6) both stayed steady in the demo, while Blue Bloods (11 million, 1.9) improved a notch from last week. Compared to last Friday, CBS improved its average in 18-49, posting a 1.6 rating in primetime.
Fox placed second in the demo for the night, with a 1.4 rating. Kitchen Nightmares (3.7 million, 1.5) dipped slightly, but sci-fi cult favorite Fringe (3.2 million, 1.3) improved in its third week out.
Like last week, NBC placed third with repeats of Up All Night, Whitney and a two-hour Dateline (6 million, 1.4). In a few weeks, NBC will launch Chuck and Grimm, and it remains to be seen if those programs would affect the competition. ABC followed; the network aired encores of Suburgatory, Revenge, Modern Family and a new 20/20 (3.4 million, 1.1), down more than half a million viewers.
The CW's Nikita (1.6 million, 0.5) saw a decline and Supernatural (1.6 million, 0.7) matched last week's demo mark.
