Trick or treat? Chuck fans will have to wait one more week for its fifth and final season debut. NBC announced on Friday that it and new fairy tale thriller series, Grimm, will premiere on Oct. 28 starting at 8 p.m. as part of two nights of Halloween-themed programming.

Chuck and Grimm will represent Night 2 for dramas. On Night 1, comedies scare up the laughs with what has become a tradition of special Halloween episodes with Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office and new series, Whitney, airing on Oct. 27 starting at 8 p.m.

On the final season of Chuck, Team Bartowski become spies for hire when they create Carmichael Industries. What’s so scary about that? Morgan (Joshua Gomez) is the new Intersect.

Grimm lends itself a bit better to the theme. The show re-imagines the iconic Grimm fairy tales as a guidebook for hunting down its fabled monsters, which really exist. David Giuntoli stars as a descendent of the Grimm family line and inherits the ability to find and fight off the creatures.
