Out of favour goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is set to quit Tottenham in January, manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed.

Gomes made some high-profile errors last season and new signing Brad Friedel has taken over the No. 1 spot, with Carlo Cudicini used in Spurs' last two Europa League ties. The Brazilian got a game in the Carling Cup defeat to Stoke, but Redknapp has revealed that he is likely to move on when the transfer window reopens.
"I would think he won't be happy," said Redknapp. "He wants to play at the World Cup [in 2014] with Brazil, so it's going to be a problem. We'll wait until the next window and see where that takes us.
"He's done nothing wrong. He's a fantastic goalkeeper and a great pro. I just went with Carlo in Greece [against PAOK in the Europa League] - and he [Cudicini] was magnificent.
With three top quality goalkeepers at his disposal, Redknapp also admitted that it was a tough choice to make.
"I'm very lucky I have three top goalkeepers here and it's unlucky for the two not in the team. They would get in other teams, for sure. He [Gomes] trains great every day,'' he added.
"I spoke to Tony Parks and we felt Carlo might be a better bet coming off the bench. The big man [Gomes] is a top, top goalkeeper, in my opinion. People look at the odd mistake but he also made incredible saves."
