Harry Redknapp has confirmed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone is to undergo an ankle operation.

Huddlestone has not featured for Spurs since the 5-1 loss to Manchester City on August 28 and Redknapp said he will go under the knife on Monday.
Redknapp said: "He needs another operation. He's already had one but there is still a problem with him. It's a blow. He will be out for a while."
Tottenham have also announced that defender William Gallas has suffered another calf injury, but Michael Dawson is making good progres s after an Achilles problem and Aaron Lennon and Danny Rose are available again. Steven Pienaar could also feature against Shamrock Rovers in Thursday's Europa League tie.
