"The meeting is expected to produce a roadmap that will bring Syria out of authoritarian regimes to democratic order," read a written statement of the opposition.

"The meeting will also establish mechanisms to accommodate the demands of the protesters on the streets who clearly want to replace the current government," added the opposition.

Maleh, a lawyer and human rights activists, said it has a document about the changes that have taken Syria toward a democratic state. "We'll see if anyone objected to this working paper. We will receive feedback and continue the discussion outside Syria that may be done by about 15 people," said Maleh, 79 years old.

Shadow

Earlier reports had appeared opposition leaders intend to form a shadow government. However, it seems the plan is undone amid fears the agency will monopolize the efforts of opposition to the regime in Syria. This meeting was held after the protesters rejected the proposed dialogue President Assad.

Syrian opposition leaders has twice held meetings in Turkey since anti-government demonstrations broke out last March. Thousands of Syrians also cross into Turkey to avoid bloodshed.

Turkey urged President Assad to reform, but not to require it to resign.

Nevertheless, Turkey's patience growing thin. Last month Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the Syrian government committed crimes against the people.

This is the loudest reaction of Turkey issued so far of the demonstrations in Syria which has claimed more than 1,400 civilians.
