World News - The volcano began erupting at the largest glacier in Iceland on Saturday (21 / 5). But, a geologist suspect, the cracking would not interfere with air traffic as last year's eruption.
"Volcanoes Grimsvotn, which is under huge glacier in the southeast of Iceland, has been spewing white smoke as high as 15 kilometers into the air," said geologist Hjorleifur Sveinbjornsson Met Office told Reuters.
He said the last time Grimsvotn times erupted in 2004.
"That may be a big eruption, but apparently it will not be like last year's eruption," he said.
He refers to the beginning of last year's eruption, the volcano that is under other glaciers and cause air traffic chaos after the volcano spewing thick smoke into the air.
