The software giant Microsoft announced that currently there are 36 thousand developers to create applications that queue up on the platform of Windows Phone 7.
In his blog, senior director of Windows Phone Brandon Watson to inform you that the Windows Phone SDK until now has been downloaded 1.5 million times since first introduced a few months ago. Currently, Microsoft itself has approved at least 1.200 new developers each week.
IT Portal Launched by Friday (04/01/2011), 40 percent of developers who sign up for Windows Phone will sell applications and games on that platform.
Microsoft itself claimed that Windows Marketplace now has 11.200 applications, and 7.500 of them are paid applications, while the 1.100 application live from advertising. While 44 percent of them provide trial versions.
The company also said that it takes an average of 1.8 days for the developer to obtain certification from Microsoft.
"We've been very focused on the quality of applications in the Marketplace since we first announced the platform one year ago, and we've done this by doing what we do best for the developers, by giving them great tools," he said.
